Intern-Community Relations

Job Description

This position requires experience in performing the essential duties, responsibilities and primary function of an intern in the Marketing and Public Relations department. Strong writing and speaking skills are integral components of this position as well as strong computer literacy and familiarity with various website and social media platforms.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS

·         Writing for both print and online publication

·         Ability to organize and maintain various documents within the Marketing and PR department

·         Coordinate and assist with various community events, programs and other hospital related activities

·         Data input and management as it relates to hospital based, online and social media applications

 

Requirements

·         Must be currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a college or university with an emphasis on marketing, public relations and/or online advertising

·         Must be proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point as well as the various social media platforms
